I returned this box as defective and bought an ematic 103b. I can find, but strangely, their book tells me to come here for software updates! ![]() ![]() Evening all, first post here. I got an Ematic AT103B last weekend. The receiver is great, but the recording menu is giving me fits. It point blank refuses to access most of the channels. I try scrolling up the channel numbers but it won't go to the channels I want. I discovered by accident that it has the same hardware ID as a ViewTV AT-163, ABL7802-R836-A. The software is dated from February 2017 with the suffix V3. ViewTV has an update on their site dated from September, so I have to wonder if it would work on the AT103B. So, maybe the experts can tell me if this will work or what the chances are of making an instant brick. It's probably compatible; however, you would probably need a ViewTV remote. The remote codes the box responds to are contained in the firmware, so any time you cross-flash another box's firmware, you need that other box's remote. Love love shine stepmania download torrent. For example, the HW-180 remote and iView 3200 remote look similar, but send completely different codes, so you can't operate either device with the other's remote. OTOH, the HW-180 remote does use the same codes as the Terk remote, so you can cross-flash your Terk with HW-180 firmware (although some of the buttons are labeled differently, so they work, but not as expected). But cross-flashing firmware can work as long as you can get your hands on the necessary remote. I know of one person who successfully cross-flashed his eMatic with HW-150 firmware (the HW-150 remote is available separately), although it took a couple of tries before he found an HW-150 firmware version that would work with the eMatic! BTW, there is a thread for the eMatic here.
